The International Songwriting Retreat, unique in Ireland, offers songwriters the chance to explore and hone their songwriting skills, under the expert mentorship of our international team - RuthAnne - Maria Christensen - Rob Wells & Shridhar Solanki.

As part of the retreat The IIMS will host a final showcase - See upcoming stars from around the world showcase their talent. During the showcase, the International Songwriting Retreat Attendees will perform songs and arrangements they wrote during the Retreat.

In association with Craobh na Mara CCÉ Balbriggan, we are proud to announce a performance by two of Ireland's most gifted traditional musicians and singers, Síle Denvir and Barry Kerr, at IIMS as part of the Dublin Fleadh Cheoil.

The Tadhg Leahy Quartet are a guitar quartet playing original instrumental music which features a heavy emphasis on improvisation.

This music equally takes influence from modern jazz and rock, moving from heavy groove based tunes influenced by “Wayne Krantz” to more contemporary jazz compositions taking influence from “Julian Lage” and “Bill Frisell”.
