Joana began learning classical piano at the age of six in Eduardas Balsys Art Gymnasium in Lithuania where she gained excellent knowledge of Kodály method, Music Theory and Harmony and Music History. At the age of twenty-two she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music and Piano Performer’s Qualification at The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
During studies, Joana regularly performed in various concerts and musical events as a Solo Pianist, Piano Accompanist and as a part of a chamber ensemble. She is passionate about music and teaching how to play the piano and have extensive teaching experience for children and adults. She is always learning new teaching styles and methods and going the extra mile for her students!
