SYSTIR (Icelandic for “sister”) have grown naturally from the legendary ANÚNA, creating a new and eclectic musical ambience through their exploration of the myriad shades and hues of the female voice.

Featuring six singers Caitríona Sherlock, sisters Aisling & Lauren McGlynn, Lorna Breen, Sorcha Fenlon and Sigrid Algesten with instrumentalist Cian O’Donnell - their combined voices create a magical ambience. The singers come from many musical backgrounds bringing their expertise in the genres of classical, rock, traditional and musical theatre together to create a uniquely beautiful sonic experience.

From delicate lullabies in hushed tones to stark ancient chants, the singers use their experiences to bring the audience on a journey into their world of infinite colours and unique perspectives and stories.
