Bláthnaid Nicholson is a 23-year-old soprano from Leixlip, Co. Kildare. Since finishing both a BA Music & Drama and Bachelor of Music degrees in University College Dublin, she has dedicated herself to the art of performance under the tutelage of Colette McGahon-Tosh and Aoife O’Sullivan.
Bláthnaid is a multi-prize winner, most recently winning The Marchant Cup, The Veronica Dunne Operatic Ensemble and has been commended on her performance of lieder at the 2022 Feis Ceoil. Bláthnaid’s most recent engagements include the role of Julia Bertram in Dove’s Mansfield Park and a recital in Boyle Arts Festival 2022.
