The IIMS Children’s Percussion Ensemble is directed by our very own conductor, Dr John Nutekpor.

The ensemble is a fun and friendly introduction to percussion for kids aged 7 to 12.

No experience is necessary.

The IIMS Children’s Percussion Ensemble rehearses from 6PM to 7PM on Thursdays at the Irish Institute of Music & Song.

The upcoming Summer Term will begin on Thursday May 9th & will run for 8 weeks.

There will be no breaks in lessons during this summer term.

Ensemble Membership - €13.50 Per Session.

We offer a 10% discount on each additional sibling and/or additional instrument.

“Gabla is a name coined from the ewe ethnic group of Ghana, West Africa. Ga means metal and bla meaning bind. As we bond together through percussion practice from diverse backgrounds, we see ourselves as a united group replicating the word gabla.” J.Nutekpor
